Hello Josie! I love the pictures you chose to shoot for this project, they look very good! I like your first picture. You can clearly see the building's reflection in the window, and the blue frame around it adds this color touch to the photo and makes it stand out more. For the second picture, I like the anime figures that you chose to shoot, and we can really see their shadow on the wall behind them. I also like that effect the flash gave to your picture. About the third photo, I think it looks pretty cool! I like the composition you made as well as the bright colors. I like how the light that comes from the window enters the room and give this natural bright lightning to your photo. Then, for the fourth picture, I absolutely love it. The silhouette of the trees on the light sunset background looks amazing! I really gives this nature atmosphere. Finally, for the fifth photo, I love how you isolated the white stripe with the patterns and made it the focus point of your work. Having these very dark wood panels around it, makes the white stripe stand out even more! In conclusion, I think that you did an amazing job on this project. You managed the light pretty well, and chose good subjects to shoot. This is great, keep going!
Hi! First off, I would like to say I love your choice of subjects for this project. For photo #1, I love the way the reflection of the building pops through on the glass. It's almost hard to tell which direction it's coming from (not in a bad way!) Photo #2 is good too. I like the figurines--especially because they're Dragon Ball Z as I collect those myself--and the way the light reflects off of them. Bardock's arm gives off shadows which is a nice touch and allows me to really see the three-dimensional aspect of the figurine. The 3rd photo is really clear and crisp, and I like that you were able to keep the light from the outside from being over-saturated. Your silhouette photo is really cool too. I'm drawn to the sunlight in the background, and it adds the perfect amount of darkness to the trees. I didn't even think to photograph nature for this category! For your last photo, I think it's very interesting. I'm focused on the white part of the photo, but I'm unsure of what this is exactly. I think it's cool there's an abstract element to this photo, however I'm not sure everyone would understand what effect you were going for. Overall, you did great!
